Organometallic Compounds and Catalysis - COMORCA

Official web site of the group: www.unioviedo.es/comorca

The members of the ORGANOMETALIC COMPOUNDS AND CATALYSTS group (COMORCA) develop their research work in the Department of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry and the Department of Physical and Analytical Chemistry of the University of Oviedo. The group also belongs to the Institute of Organometallic Chemistry "Enrique Moles" of the same university, and is associated to the CSIC (National Research Council) through the Institute of Chemical Research (IIQ) of Seville.

The work of the COMORCA group is focused on Organometallic Chemistry and, in particular, on the development of new metal transition based catalysts and their application in processes of synthetic interest, paying attention to the study of catalytic reactions with potential industrial applications.

The group consists of three Associate Professors (Victorio CadiernoPascale Crochet and Javier Borge), two Assistant Professors (Sergio E. García Garrido and Joaquín García Álvarez), a Collaborating Professor (Javier Francos Arias),  a "Clarín Researcher" (David Elorriaga Muñoz) and two PhD students (María Jesús Rodríguez Álvarez and Rebeca González Fernández).
